Choose from InvivoGen's collection of CLR genes

InvivoGen offers a list of genes related to the C-type lectin receptors (CLRs) pathway.

C-type lectin receptors (CLRs) comprise a large family of receptors that bind to carbohydrates in a calcium-dependent manner. CLRs include the Dendritic cell-associated C-type lectin-1 (Dectin-1), Dectin-2, macrophage-inducible C-type lectin (Mincle), DC-specific intercellular adhesion molecule-grabbing nonintegrin (DC-SIGN), DC-SIGN-related protein (DC-SIGNR), and mannose-binding lectin (MBL).

CLRs are involved in fungal, bacterial, and viral recognition and thus, play an important role in the modulation of the innate immune response. They share one or more carbohydrate-recognition domains (CRD) in order to bind specific carbohydrate structures on the surface of pathogens. This binding is essential for the immune system to identify and initiate appropriate responses to these pathogens, leading to their clearance from the body.

Key features of InvivoGen's CLR genes

  • Fully sequenced genes from human or mouse
  • Selectable in both bacterial and mammalian cells
  • Simple to subclone due to unique restriction sites
  • Multiple isoforms available
